the girl effect

this was 'rooted in the work of the Nike Foundation' & seems a potent demonstration of a brand using its power and talents to not only do good in the world but challenge the prevailing culture of pessimism and lack of spirit and imagination

"ah.. saw this in betaphase.. based on 'uncle' yunus's grameen bank/microfinance... women only get those loans.. the woman who chairs girl effect is also prime mover on microcredit/microfinance north america.. trust a brand to nick the idea
