Commentators like Bruce Stirling and Sut Jhally have been saying we need to make sustainable lifestyles 'sexy' for nearly a decade. But there is an interesting and quite literal variant that keeps cropping up, which is making sexy green.
As in green sex toys from babeland
And the many eco-lingerie ranges like enamore
One now longstanding example of this coupling of two vibrant cultural trends which I picked up in my last book was Coco De Mer; the erotic emporium run by Anita Roddick's daughter.
It's the meeting of two current cultural ideas which have burst onto the scene; a new confident take on female sexuality and a new found interest in things natural, sustainable and green. And it just kind of works as a piece of cultural myth making.
There's general principle here for green development; find a growing or widespread cultural enthusiasm and give it a green twist. There's then a compound effect, it creates a double demand (its green and its desirable) and also changes the image of green overall.
Other examples include; ECO SPORT (mountain biking), ECO COOL (Howies), ECO FESTIVAL (Live Earth), ECO WEB (blogging), ECO TOURISM (responsible travel eg overland), ECO FASHION (organic cotton), ECO CONFECTIONARY (GREEN & BLACK), ECO SPORTS CARS (Tesla).
You could also argue Swishing into this list; its the popular (eg Anne summers) home party for Freecycling.
So what about some which havent yet been synthesised: ECO DATING, ECO SOCIAL NETWORKS, ECO MOBILES, ECO GADGETS, ECO COMPUTER GAMES, ECO EXERCISE CRAZE....

Sorry I probably got it from your blog - it sure looks familiar! (I found it by googling for "eco sexy" examples for a section in the book I was writing - couldnt remember the source by the time I posted here as it was babeland I bookmarked...)
