Legal Disclaimer

I've been contributing a few posts to the green awards blog. Checking in on the site I just happened upon their legal disclaimer - it's an absolute thing of beauty. Placed next to the possibly naive feeling of freedom in blogging (except in China where a contact tells me Greenormal is blocked by censors) it strikes me as something like the old Swedish comedy show which featured a couple of guys roaring around in a Volvo that happened to be encased in a jumbo mattress. A thing of beauty anyway. (I get it, but cant help smiling at the need for it). Here it is....

It's the blogspot platform that is blocked in China. The Green drinks networking event in Beijing is one of the most popular networking events and so you might want to port this blog into one of those platforms that is not blocked. There's certainly an audience for it.

Crikey. That's not so much a legal disclaimer for a blog, but a disclaimer for any form of what I think is called thinking. You know, that kicking something about, not sure where it may go, but you never know, type thing.

I mean, that type of thinking - the 'I'm not quite sure but maybe this'll spark something' brought us the biro, amazon.com and the vertical take-off and landing jet.

I particularly like the mutual exclusivity of a blogger and a competent professional.

Then again, random thoughts from non-professionals also brought us Cannon and Ball, and spawned 7 christmas specials and a feature film. Maybe they're right after all.

great response Guy I quite literally laughed out loud when I got to the mutual exclusivity bit (although anybody who chokes while doing so should note that we are not admitting responsibility for... and etc.)

& thx Charles will look into that, maybe with coopp, net which I'm going to stick up at some point for discussion around the next book
